CONGRATULATIONS to all who competed at the West Hants “Play Your Way to Wimbledon” Fun Doubles Day on Bank Holiday Monday 6th May 2024
West Hants hosted a fun doubles event on Monday 6th May as part of the Play Your Way to Wimbledon competition.
16 players enjoyed an afternoon of indoor tennis competing against each other in Men’s and Women’s doubles events.
Event organiser, Sasha said “ The event had a great atmosphere with some closely fought matches, we were lucky to have indoor courts and avoid the rain. I want to wish our players the best of luck in the next round of the event and hope that West Hants can be represented at the National Finals at the All England Club in August . Good luck Team West Hants!”
The winners (and possibly runners up) will progress through to the area finals which are being held in Salisbury on 22nd June. If successful at the area finals they will be invited to play at the National Finals at the All England Club 14th – 17th August.
