Prestigious RPDC Status Awarded by LTA - July 2020
Posted on 29th Jul 2020
The LTA have awarded The West Hants Club "Regional Player Development Centre" status.
R.P.D.Cs are carefully selected Clubs which provide high level coaching, nurturing promising juniors to reach their tennis potential on an international level. There are only a few in the UK and we are very proud to have been awarded this status. Click here to read the LTA's press release.
Our RPDC Head Coach (and 11+ Performance Manager), Richard Irwin, says,
"With the success our players have had on the international stage in recent years, we’re delighted to have the LTA’s support and recognition. The RPDC status enables us to play a pivotal role on the Player Pathway and will allow us to continue to deliver our exceptional and proven programme to even more rising stars. Our aim is to help create a pipeline of future champions and support British Tennis in becoming one of the most respected nations in player development”
We will share more news soon but in the meantime, if you have any questions, please email Richard Irwin or The West Hants Club's CEO, Peter Elviss.
