The days are darker but life is still bright and busy inside the Club!
An update on our second tennis court bubble
As mentioned in last month's newsletter, we were expecting our new bubble to arrive from Belgium mid-October. External factors caused a delay beyond our control and we have been advised it will be here the week starting 14th November. Our teams will ready to install it that week.
Have you been waiting for online tennis court bookings?
You will be happy to hear that after complex, hard work behind the scenes, we are close to launching online bookings for all tennis courts! Full members, please keep checking your email inbox for details including information about drop-in sessions with our team who can ensure you are set up and ready when online bookings open - we will align this with the second bubble being in place!
Morning Club Closure on Thursday 24th November
For essential staff training and club maintenance, please note the Club will be closed to members on Thursday 24th November until 11am. This decision is not made lightly, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
Housekeeping - our Car Park
We are fortunate to have spaces for approximately 200 cars and we would like to politely remind members to show courtesy and consideration to each other by:
- paying close attention to neighbouring cars when parking. For those with larger cars, we have dedicated 'large car' spaces in our overflow carpark which only adds a few seconds on to your walk to the Club entrance.
- remembering the Parent & Child and Disabled parking bays are for the sole use of those who qualify for these spaces. These spaces have been carefully planned for those with greater access needs.
- only using the car park when visiting the Club. University students who are members, please kindly refrain from using our car park unless you are here to use our facilities. Not adhering to this may result in your car being clamped.
- using the drop-off area directly in front of the entrance for dropping off and collecting only. Please do not leave your car there unattended.
If anyone has any questions relating to anything covered in this newsletter, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. In the meantime, please continue to check our website, social channels, and club noticeboards for all news & events!
Best wishes,
Peter D Elviss
Chief Executive
