May we start by wishing you a Happy New Year and we hope 2023 brings health and happiness to you.  The New Year is often a busy time for newcomers to the Club so we would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest members.

Court Bookings

Our online court bookings are proving to be popular and we thank all members for their ongoing support with this new booking option.  Our courts are under particular pressure during the Winter months so to create more opportunities for more members to play we are:

  • extending our closing time to 8pm at weekends and on bank holidays.  This means the last court booking will now be at 6.30pm.

  • we are introducing a new Club rule which means Full individual members may only play for seven hours per week, per racket sport.  These seven hours are inclusive of any coaching lessons. Club arranged coach-led sessions are excluded from the seven hours of permitted play.

Studio Class Bookings

  • We are pleased to share that a number of new classes have been added to our weekly timetable.  Keep scrolling for more details.

  • Our Studio classes are very popular and to keep waiting lists down, and to extend the opportunity for more to attend, we are introducing a new rule which means members may advance book a maximum of two classes per day.  Additional classes may be booked on the day.

  • May we politely remind swimmers that the 15 minutes immediately after an Aqua-Tone class is used for the instructor and attendees to clear away equipment.  Other members may enter the pool after the class has finished, but please note the pool is being tidied and class attendees may be 'cooling down' after their session.

Steam Room update

You may be aware that our poolside Steam Room has been closed for a little while and for this we apologise.  We are currently awaiting a part from Europe so that we can make the necessary repairs. It was ordered immediately but there have been festive delays and we have been told the part should arrive mid-January  Preparations are underway so we are ready to make the repairs as soon as the part arrives.  We have ordered two parts for future proofing purposes.  Long standing members will know that our Steam Room is rarely out of action so we thank you for your understanding and patience.
