Club Duva friends visit us from Mallorca

It was a great pleasure this weekend to welcome our Padel friends from Puerto Pollenca, Mallorca.
With a game of Padel organised for the Friday afternoon followed by a delicious meal at the club in the evening, a plaque commemorating their visit was also presented to our three Spanish Padel visitors, Juan Aguilar, Paco Treble & Tim Alcaraz.
Joined by 20 West Hants Padel players the evening was enjoyed by all with plenty of laughs, speeches and exchanges of Padel stories.
Saturday they where treated to tickets to the Bournemouth v Liverpool game being avid fans of the latter (let’s not mention the score!) and a second competitive game of Padel ensued on the Sunday.
“It was a wonderful weekend and so nice to catch up with our West Hants friends” said Juan. “We are looking forward to welcoming the West Hants Padel Team back to our club, ‘Club Duva’, in Puerto Pollenca in September.”
He continued, “This will be their 9th year bringing a team to the town to battle against our Mallorca padel players and it is always a very competitive but fun weekend!
Paco added, “We were pleased to also host the West Hants Ladies Team last year for the first ever ‘Ladies International Padel Tournament’ also held at ‘Club Duva’ and look forward to once more welcoming them back again to play in June.”
